So... I just got a preview of my taxes for 2008 and uh,...I'm in a jammy. First year I've had to pay the government back. Darn you, non-tax-deducting-freelancing gigs.

Well, in other news, I received Creative Quarterly 15's Bronze Award in Fine Art and Merit Award in Illustration. I guess it's a balanced day :-/.

Spring Break!

Here's some work I just got done for class. It was a series of 5 illustrations based on melancholy. The other two are still in-progress. I was pretty pleased as to how these turned out. You can find the sketches for them in my previous entries.

Such craziness! I've only been able to sleep 4- hours per day for the past week or so due to finals but hey, that's pretty normal for scad kids. Sigh, anyhow, here are sketches for the new projects.
