i got the scholarship



Thank you to everyone that voted for me to receive the Illustration Academy scholarship. I didn't think I had such an amazingly supportive online community and for that, I thank you.

I'm sending you all a complimentary booty-bump via snail mail...keep an eye on your mailman.

  11. Kudos to you! Your work is brilliant, I think you will do amazing things with the scholarship! I'm sure you've answered this question many times, but I was hoping you could tell me what technique you use for your graphite drawings? Your pencil is so seamless and smooth! I am also very curious about the blue borders on your work? Is that tape to keep it from buckling? Sorry so many questions! hope you are having a splendid day, phoebe

    Phoebe: It consists of patient blending and a variety of pencils in different values. The blue border is tape. I like a nice clean border around my paintings. Thanks!
