soon: new print

Teaming up with Thinkspace, we'll be running limited edition prints of What the World Doesn't Know. It should be available within the next month so if you would like to snag a spot, email Andrew at contact@thinkspacegallery.com.

Lately, I've been experimenting a lot with motifs like billowing fabrics and feathers. It's essential to continue your technical skills so with each painting, I try something new whether it's a different base color, composition, or motif. Currently, I'm figuring out how to control my values to render porcelain-like skin tones:

P.S. I started pursuing art some-teen years ago, started this blog a year and a half ago, and have been working professionally for the past year. So to those who believed/believing in me, I just want to say...

site update & show schedule

Finally, the renovations for trannguyen.org are done and I've also decided to complement it with a new blog design (as you can see). Please let me know if you have any issues/suggestions/concerns about the website or blog design. Thanks so much, everyone!
