One of my older paintings, Our Flutter-some Ordeal, recently received the gold award and Phil Hayes Scholarship for the 49th Illustration West Competition, sponsored by the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles. There's going to be an exhibition at Gallery Nucleus to showcase the selected works, including a framed print of Our Flutter-some Ordeal for sale (original is unavailable). The reception will be held this Friday. Come on by if you're in the West Coast.
